Unmoored
Unmoored was a site-specific mixed reality experience that explored a potential future where global warming has gone unchecked. Times Square is entirely submerged underwater thrusting visitors into an aquatic realm with nautical traffic jams occurring overhead.
While the mixed reality experience only lived from July 11th-13th, Chin’s accompanying piece entitled, “Wake,” a massive ship’s figurehead, remained in Times Square until September 5th, 2018. Our job was to promote the heck out of it, but the ship was in the middle of Times Square, so it wasn’t that difficult.

““The work presents a hauntingly prophetic vision of a city overrun by climate change, completely submerged by the rising tides.””
London College of Fashion Incubator
Microsoft partnered with London College of Fashion to find out what happens when the future leaders of the fashion industry get their hands on the innovative technology of today.
“Students at the London College of Fashion have bought their creative ideas to Microsoft and what might sound like an unlikely union has been a surprising success.”
“From wearable tech to smart mirrors and cashier-less retail stores, the possibilities created by the intersection of fashion and tech are myriad and exciting...the Microsoft incubator is not a permanent part of the LCF curriculum, but given how oversubscribed the first intake was, it seems likely it could become one.”
